Well this has never been featured in any of the Star Wars games or movies but was featured in one of the books that i just got done reading today after following some of the details and descriptions in the book i conjured up this graphic of the Grand Army Of The Republic's "low altitude troop deployment platform" it could not fly as high as the LAAT gunship but could house way more troops than it with a total of 16 clones on the ships platform 1 pilot and 1 rear gunner.
The ship had very high speeds and according to the book it could hit up to half a Parasec roughly translated into miles per hour that was 210 mph! WOW WEE!

The first time this vehicle was utilized was during the battle for Geonosis which lead troops into combat on the barren desert floor.
