I've seen it, it's actually not too bad. It beats the living crap out of 2, which should never have been made. It's not as good as the original of course, but it's still an enjoyable movie. The last 15 minutes kinda suck, but I won't give anything away.
Rent it, buy it if you feel so inclined. There are far worse ways to spend 90 minutes.

I saw it about a month ago. Better than the second, not as good as the first, still pretty poor....

BAD POINTS: the bugs are 3d rendered in a wery suckish way. still the 1997's bugs looks like more more more realistic than the 2008 ones.
the audio. something changed. i used to love that kryyeeeh of those lovely ants&co, but now they are changed. i expected something better!
bugs again...bomb-bugs...aaaaw. fail.
